Run for Robinvale
Push Up Challenge
Join me in helping raise awareness of the the struggles regional and rural dwelling folk go through with regard to their mental health. In the city, access to a range of different professionals and resources is endless, but out in the bush, on farms and past the end of the freeways is a different story.
We're now well past the half way point in fundraising, in fact we've tipped over the $30,000 mark during July, but just like running a marathon, Luke might need a little help to push across that line.
In fact, everyone who has ever suffered mental health issues, everyone who's ever cared for someone, been married to someone, been the son, daughter, mother or father of someone with mental health issues needs a hand and this is how you can help.
Show not only your support for those caring for someone, and those suffering from mental illness, but help raise some much needed funds for our clinic here in Robinvale.
We want you to do 42 push-ups for 42 days - however, we don't want you to do it alone.
You shouldn't have to do it alone.
We want you to do it with your person.
Your person might be your best friend. It might be a parent, grandparent, aunty, uncle, cousin, footy mate, fishing friend, work wife, husband, your child or someone you know has got your back all the time.
We want this to be symbolic of support, knowing there's someone there for you every single day & that it doesn't have to be the same person.
It's about trying even when you think there's no way you could get through.
It's about moving your body.
It's about strength.
It's about bonding.
It's about conversation.
It's about support.
So find someone, anyone to help you throughout the 42 DAYS of this challenge, sign up, post your videos to all of your socials to show everyone your support and spread the word and to raise the last lot of funds needed to bring a mental health service to Robinvale.
Saturday Morning River Run
POSTPONED DURING STAGE 3 RESTRICTIONS
When we say 5K, look it could be 10, it could be 14, it could be 1, it's entirely up to you.
Every Saturday morning we meet for a run, jog, shuffle, skip or walk along our beautiful part of the Murray River.
Come for the social aspect, come along and use it as a time trial, use it as an excuse to take the dog for a stroll, or the kids for a ride or just for a coffee and a chat.
We'd love to see you there, and then we all head to Loft 13 afterwards for pancakes and coffee. It's a beautiful way to start your weekend.
